Sometime after the last attack. The party ends up reading the "Help Wanted" Board inside of The Rusty Dragon. Everyone ends up checking out a couple of different jobs. Palon is deputized by Sheriff Belor Hemlock as he leaves for Magnimar once again to acquire soldiers, with extra undeniable proof from Thistletop and from Shalelu's reports. Tzar ends up helping a family whose son's voice kept disappearing and speaks of things impossible. Fender decides to rip off The Feathered Serpent, making use of his Hat of Disguise and Vorvashali's need of late night security. Fender creates the mercenary persona Miles Leinhart, and secures a job as the security for Voon's shop. Tzar, after some helpful research from Brodert Quink, realized the boy was afflicted by an Attic Whisperer spirit, and rushed off to save him. After a tense battle, Tzar came out victorious. Fender waited well into the night to make his move into The Feathered Serpent. He grabbed a net and used it to wrap up whatever was on display for sale and then carried it across town to his room. Despite his best efforts, he made quite a bit of noise at some times and there was a bit of blundering on the way, however, despite all odds, he managed to get by undetected by the authorities. The next day Palon takes over the investigation of the string of thefts, and finds out about The Feathered Serpent heist firsthand. However, despite many clues, there is no hard evidence present that could identify any suspects, except that in the earlier assault on the feathered serpent a small humanoid was seen running from that area. Later, Tzar and Fender join up with a Varisian man named Jubrayl Vhiski. Agreeing to help escort his small caravan to Magnimar. Meanwhile Palon discovers the Catacombs of Wrath well inside the smuggling tunnel beneath the Glassworks. Tzar and Fender make their way to Magnimar unharmed, and do some shopping and selling, while Tzar looks for information about his family. Palon, accompanied by Orik, Shalelu, and the warrior Selene, explore the catacombs and end up defeating a Quasit and more of those creatures. Who seemed to spawn from a glowing pool in her lair. By the end of the battle, The pool was dry...
