Although there will have to be some conversion on my part, and the creation of character sheets...(unless you'd prefer scrap paper). Who all would be interested in playing the Pathfinder RPG Alpha/Beta?
It might give us some good extra roleplaying time and I'd like to use it to get some of those other published adventures I have out of the way. I'm curious to see if the powercreep will be an issue with older publications. Personally I think that the core classes were too weak to deal with many starting adventures, unless you come across a cadre of magic items (3.5 has a big emphasis on that, some of ther powering up is to reduce reliance on tons of magic items).
Anyway, I'd really like to take the alpha for a whirl. Just pick your core class and we'll wait until the first published rules for it are out.
So far there is only the Cleric, Fighter, Wizard, and Rogue classes (which is pretty much your classic 4-man party, probably why they did those classes first).

Ok. Since we all discussed this recently and concluded that me, Adam and Raymond are all up for this, and with the emergence of those generic sheets this should be a little easier.
I figure I'm going to either use a Fighter or, if it is released early enough, a Ranger.
I guess we should figure out which of those adventures we're going to run.

Actually, You guys can feel free to just pick a core class and I won't mind waiting until there is a release. It shouldn't be too much longer before the second part of the alpha is up...
Then again, since this is all for testing and shits and giggles purposes, I suppose you could just make another character later. Unless you guys want a strict play style I won't be too concerned with story mechanics (hey, where did this Ranger come from!?!?! Where did the fighter go?) as I would in a normal game. Anyway....I'm thinking The Speaker in Dreams might be interesting to test out. The end of it seems too hard for a normal 3.5 party, there will be tons of different situations, and it's mid-level if I'm not mistaken.
Any other suggestions/input?

I'm always good for it. It's just, I still would like to know more of the core stuff on the rest of the classes before making any real decision on what I want to be, and I am not wasting paper (scratch or character sheet) on a character only to scrap it. Besides, what if I wanted a monk, paladin or sorsoror (fuck that word's spelling! >=[ )? No way I could prepare one without knowing the stuffs.
How are we going to juggle two different campaigns though? We won't finish up our first one here too soon, and starting the other would be a nice change, but I still don't see how we'll be able to run two different things when we barely do one as we are now X/

Running multiple isn't really a big deal at all. We only have one real game, and often we're not going to have the extra people here as often. If we get them out of the main game we'll be playing that %90 of the time. In any case, The rules are going to change CONSTANTLY and it's not going to be too serious since it's only a test of game mechanics. So you don't need to worry about creating a real character. Anyway, would you guys like to go over the adventures I have available?

Yay for us starting the new adventure! I wanted to do a serious one, but the play test with the new stuff just begged for a small mess around. Sorry about starting a fight with Raydog's character though.... But honestly, I won't be too many characters with a good alignment and will be saving everyone like that.

Yeah, I may make some kind of forum about it or something if I feel like it...
